Get to know me

As Leora pursued her teaching certificate, she found herself tasked with helping plan a wedding at just 18 years old, which turned into a unique teaching opportunity and ultimately sparked her entire career. She fell in love with the industry and launched her first company, Best Bride, in 2011. While building her business, she also pursued her Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism at California State University, Northridge. After over ten years of producing luxury events, she was eager to teach others the valuable knowledge she learned and formed The Academy for Events. Academy provides other aspiring entrepreneurs with all the mentorship, expertise and resources Leora wishes she had when she was building her business, and allows others to succeed and thrive, In the event industry.
